All Things Pink

So this is what happens.

I'm in the middle of doing one thing, I’m excited about it, and because I'm so excited about it, I hop on over here to blog about it! Distraction at it's finest. Be thankful you can't see inside my mind. Yikes!

My blogger world (small as it may be) must be dying to know what I'm so excited about.

I've been married for almost 3 years now (which is WEIRD). So naturally, we have several friends in the same "marriage" boat. However, many of them are now having their first (and second and third) baby! My husband and I don't even have a puppy yet. I'm not complaining, just stating facts here. It's so strange that we all grow up and that we're now old enough to be starting families! It's definitely a new adventure and it's exciting to see our friends start that journey.

Because of all of these sweet babies, I've discovered that I love helping with baby showers. Well, truth be told, I've only had the chance to help with one, but I'm on a roll. Don't get me wrong. Wedding showers are fun—but baby showers are so much cuter! I'm currently helping with my second baby shower and it is so incredibly fun! This particular friend of mine is so dear to my heart and has been through so much within her own family. She recently lost her mom (as well as other close family members) and I can't imagine that heartache. I know the Lord goes before her always, continues to hold her broken heart, and has blessed her along the way. Because of Him, she continues to push forward, ready to start her own journey of motherhood. I think it's pretty perfect that she's having a little girl—fondly named after her mom. Here's to creating new memories.

That is why I am so excited. She deserves SO much and I want to shower her with the best of the best! A sweet friend and myself are dreaming and collaborating to do just that. Thanks to perfect themes, Pinterest, Shutterfly, tissue paper, decorative chalkboards, frosting, and all things pink!

Shoot. Now I want cake.
